Despite a tragic fire that destroyed the Bookshop in 1991, a new store was soon rebuilt through the help of Mobile Mission Maintenance. From the ashes of ruin emerged a beautiful brick building that is used to declare and distribute the Good News of Jesus Christ.

John Haulai is the current Supervisor of the Wewak Christian Bookshop. He is assisted by a capable and cheerful team of eleven staff members.

Each September, Mt Hagen hosts the colourful Cultural Show. Hundreds of people decorate themselves in their traditional tribal dress and perform songs and dances. In the past, bookshop staff have set up a booth to distribute Christian literature.

Jerry Wamo manages the Mt Hagen Christian Bookshop and is assisted by ten staff fellows.

Many people had expressed the need for a quality bookshop within Moresby to provide Christian literature to strengthen and encourage believers. The Moresby Bookshop does exactly this.

Additionally, the Moresby Bookshop stocks school supplies, musical accessories, and a wide range of CBM and OM books.

Please remember the Aitape Bookshop in your prayers. They desperately need their own property that will accommodate their needs.

In addition to assisting customers and distributing God's Word, the staff teach R.I., a weekly Bible class to area schools. Their example of genuine service is a wonderful testimony within the community.

Opened in 2001, the Bookshop provides Christian books and resources to numerous people and churches within town and the surrounding areas.

Matthias Beaso, the current Supervisor, is assisted by a team of two staff members.

The Lae Warehouse is jointly managed by Jenesis Karias and Tonny Nasa. They play a vital role in keeping the Bookshops supplied. The Warehouse also provides Bible resources to wholesale customers.
